Amanda Shi

Consultant

Amanda Shi is a consultant in the Sustainable Commodities team at 3Keel, specializing in enhancing transparency and traceability in deforestation-risk supply chains. She currently focuses on palm oil supply chain reporting and data analysis, helping clients set and achieve their deforestation targets.

Amanda’s interest in sustainability began during her time as an Environmental Representative at Lincoln College, University of Oxford, where she saw firsthand how small changes in students’ daily lives could create a meaningful impact. This experience sparked her passion for driving positive environmental change.

Before joining 3Keel, Amanda completed an MSc in Financial Economics at the University of Oxford, where she developed strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex challenges. During her studies, she became particularly interested in data-driven decision-making and sustainability. She further refined her data analysis expertise through multiple internships, including roles as an ESG analyst intern at Steyn Group and a business analyst intern at Amazon. At Steyn Group, she contributed to ESG reporting and market analysis, while at Amazon, she used SQL to analyse customer data and support strategic decision-making. These experiences deepened her belief in the power of data to inform critical decisions and drive real environmental impact.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys films and reading, as well as outdoor activities like cycling and hiking—mostly to justify the time she spends lost in a book or a movie.
