Andrea Auerbach

Consultant

Andrea is a Consultant working in the Sustainable Commodities team where she helps clients understand the environmental and social issues within their supply chains, by delivering long term supply chain data collection, meaningful analysis and presentation of this data.

Her contributions come from an interest in business innovation and transformation regarding social and environmental sustainability, driven by an approach that prioritises thinking meaningfully about culture, human behaviour and how all these systems interact.

Before joining 3Keel, Andrea spent 3 years in various early and growth stage ventures in Hong Kong and London, focusing on growing innovative foodtech products and platforms (from digital product strategy and marketing to fundraising and investor management). At 3Keel, Andrea is currently enjoying delving into the complex supply chains of primary commodities for large multinational FMCG clients.

Andrea has an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London where she spent a year researching socially and environmentally sustainable alternatives to conventional business models. Here, she interviewed C-suite leaders of large corporations using critical systems thinking frameworks to understand the factors influencing decision making at the senior management level and how they may impact corporate sustainability outcomes. She also has a BA(Hons) in Chinese Studies from Oxford University where she researched social commentary on urban China as found in contemporary Chinese art.

Outside of work, Andrea loves tennis, is an enthusiastic food waste advocate and is always looking for opportunities to brush up on her Mandarin!
