Bethany Field

Senior Consultant

Bethany works in the Climate Change team at 3Keel. Her role involves project management, analysis, delivery, and business development. Since joining she has worked with a range of food and drink clients, focusing on carbon footprinting of products and value chains to support target setting and strategy development.

Bethany has worked in sustainability consulting for over 10 years, with a focus on sustainable products and supply chains. Prior to joining 3Keel, Bethany worked with large corporations and the public sector, managing and delivering projects on carbon footprinting, life cycle assessment and sustainability strategy. Bethany started her sustaiinability career working for an investment research firm, analysing the environmental and social performance of companies, with a focus on food and forestry. She developed a sound understanding of sustainability from a risk perspective, and a strong interest in the management of environmental and social risk in the supply chain. Following the research role, she moved to a sustainability consultancy where she received training in life cycle assessment, and delivered global projects for major food, retail and clothing clients.

Bethany has a Bsc in Geography from the University of Wales, where she focussed on both the human and physical aspects of the environment including Environmental Politics, Climate Change and Tropical forestry. Following a GAP year working as a conservation volunteer in India, Bethany completed a Masters in Environment and Development at SOAS, exploring the relationship between international development problems and environmental issues.
