Florence Wiggins

Consultant

Florence is a consultant in the Resilient Agriculture practice area. Her work involves supporting clients in the food and agriculture sector to develop strategies to support sustainable food production, including improving engagement between downstream actors and their suppliers. She is also supporting the development of monitoring and verification systems to monitor outcomes of regenerative agriculture. Florence has a particular interest in biodiversity conservation and is passionate about transforming the food system to deliver beneficial outcomes for nature.

Prior to joining 3Keel, Florence worked as a Researcher at Global Canopy where she was seconded to the Taskforce on Nature Related Financial Disclosures (TNFD). During this time she contributed to the development of disclosure metrics for the food and agriculture sector, supported TNFD pilots and wrote case studies to support organisations conducting nature-related risk assessments and implementing the TNFD recommendations. Florence has a master’s degree in Biodiversity Conservation and Management at Oxford, and a bachelors in Geography at Cambridge. Her master’s dissertation investigated the opportunities and challenges for the transition to regenerative agriculture in the UK, through a more-than-human perspective. Florence also spent a year as a teacher of Geography at a leading co-educational secondary school in Brighton.
