Welcome to 3Keel! How has your day been so far?

My day is going really well thanks! A nice mixture of team meetings, project work, as well as some knowledge building on the EU Deforestation Due Diligence legislation, in preparation for a 3Keel webinar session we are hosting on this topic in a couple of weeks.

What have you started working on?

At the moment I’m working on a data collection and supplier engagement project for a major European FMCG client to help them understand their supplier performance across three key commodity categories, to allow them to deliver on targets and action plans for tackling deforestation within their supply chain. It’s a really interesting mix of project management, data collection and supplier engagement and has given me the opportunity to learn more about several key forest risk commodities, including timber, cocoa and soy.

What are you looking forward to most about working for 3Keel?

In the almost 5 months I’ve been with 3Keel I can say all of my expectations have been exceeded – it’s a lovely working environment where there’s openness to share expertise, as well as access to the breadth of knowledge and insight across all of the practice areas.

Who or what inspired you to work in sustainability?

A combination of experiences throughout my academic and previous professional experience have convinced me that developing a career in sustainability was the most worthy and satisfying path for me! I am also a keen swimmer and my love of the ocean and connection to the outdoors definitely contributed to this decision.

When you’re not working, what do you like to do?

I can usually be found on the weekends seeking out the best London swim spots, cooking or catching up with friends! I’m on a mission to set up ‘3Swim’ but have yet to convince many other 3Keelers to join me on a January dip in the Hampstead ponds when it’s a balmy 2 degrees…
