Pin Hong Wong
Analyst
Pin Hong is an analyst within the Sustainable Commodities practice area at 3Keel. He is currently working on a project related to palm oil mapping, helping the client to improve the traceability of palm oil sourcing within the supply chain and achieve the deforestation target.
Pin Hong holds an MEng in Aeronautics and Astronautics/Computational Engineering and Design from the University of Southampton. For his dissertation, he modelled and simulated the traffic vehicle pollution within Southampton and reviewed its impact on the local communities. He completed his final-year design project on building a sustainable hydrofoiling moth dinghy, for which he and his team won the sustainability and reliability awards in the Foiling SuMoth Challenge held in Italy in the summer of 2022. Pin Hong also previously worked as a Research Intern at the University of Southampton Malaysia on estimating the carbon footprint in local secondary schools.
Pin Hong is passionate about analysing environmental, social and economic relationships using a data-driven approach. Outside of his work and study, he enjoys musical theatre and is involved in amateur light opera production.
