Thomas is a member of the Sustainable Commodities Team at 3Keel. His work focuses on delivering data-driven insights to enhance decision-making and enable transparency across commodity supply chains. With a background in engineering and sustainable development, Thomas is passionate about delivering solutions that strengthen the resilience and adaptive capacity of food and agricultural systems.

Prior to joining 3Keel, Thomas worked at Blue North on the delivery of climate mitigation strategies for agribusiness in South Africa’s fruit and wine industries. He has past experience in analysis, mapping, and system integration, which he has applied to improve process and operational efficiencies in several previous roles. He also served as a project manager at the social enterprise Wonderbag, where he oversaw the production and distribution of zero-emission cooking solutions through community-based partnerships and enterprise development initiatives.

Thomas holds an MPhil in Engineering for Sustainable Development from the University of Cambridge and a BEng (Hons) in Industrial Engineering from Stellenbosch University.
