Tom is a consultant within the Climate Change Practice Area, conducting quantitative analysis and communicating insights to clients. He is currently working on carbon accounting and modelling for food industry clients.

Prior to joining 3keel, Tom gained professional experience working in marketing for a software solutions provider. Alongside this, he pursued an interest in sustainability and social justice through voluntary roles. Working with a local community organisation, Tom helped analyse their grants database to ensure equality, diversity, and inclusion targets were being met and developed a database of climate activist groups for World Economics Association.

Tom has a First-Class Honours Degree in Theoretical Physics from the University of Edinburgh with a focus on Atmospheric and Climate Physics. For his dissertation he investigated the factors controlling methane production from African wetlands using satellite datasets. Tom completed similar projects on carbon capture and storage and the use of microorganisms in the safe disposal of nuclear waste.

Outside the office Tom can be found hiking, mountain biking, or playing the saxophone.
