Josefin Malmberg
Senior Consultant – Team Lead
Josefin is a Senior Consultant and Team Lead in the Climate, Nature and Resources business unit, where she specialises in circular economy, systems thinking, and climate strategy. She helps clients understand the drivers of their impacts and assess opportunities for achieving system-level shifts towards sustainability.
Josefin has significant experience of primary and secondary research and is skilled at managing complex, multi-faceted projects. She was the project manager and lead researcher for the British Fashion Council’s Circular Fashion Ecosystem project and a co-author of WRAP’s Circular Business Models Guide for Fashion. During her time at 3Keel, she has led several sustainability programmes for clients, integrating corporate footprinting, strategy, risk, and supplier engagement. Her technical experience includes workshop facilitation on circular economy and design, packaging sustainability, and research into product end-of-life landscapes around the world.
Before joining 3Keel, Josefin worked as part of Accenture Strategy’s sustainability team where she gained insight into the development of integrated sustainability strategies for companies in the life sciences sector. She furthered her analytical skills at the Stockholm-based consultancy Purple IVY, where she helped evolve the firm’s materiality assessment framework to consider long-term societal trends.
Josefin holds an interdisciplinary MSc in Environmental Governance from the University of Oxford and a BA in Geography from Durham University.
