Emma Stanley

Junior Consultant

Emma is a Junior Consultant within 3Keel’s Climate, Nature and Resource Business Unit, where she supports a variety of climate and nature-related projects. Her work to date has primarily centred around carbon footprinting, land use change accounting, and climate risk analysis.

Before joining 3Keel, Emma worked for a marine conservation charity managing project communications and developing political, media campaigns against issues including deep sea mining, industrial fishing and unsustainable whale shark tourism. She holds a BSc in Geography from Durham University where she specialised topics such as climate change, oceanography and reconstructing past environments.

Emma is also an RYA sailing instructor and PADI Divemaster. After university she spent two months in Madagascar carrying out reef surveys to collect data on a local marine protected area and saw firsthand the impacts that ocean warming and unsustainable fishing practices had had on the marine environment.
