Senior Consultant
Luke is a Senior Consultant in 3Keel’s Agriculture and Landscapes Business Unit. He specialises in regenerative agriculture, ecosystem services, and sustainable land use, working with partners to design and deliver innovative solutions at farm and landscape scale. His work supports clients navigating agricultural transitions while enhancing natural capital, improving farm resilience, and delivering environmental outcomes.
Luke brings over 14 years of experience across agri-business, agricultural policy, and sustainability innovation. Prior to joining 3Keel, Luke was Agri-Lead at the Satellite Applications Catapult, where he led consortium-building initiatives that applied cutting-edge technology to measuring natural capital at scale.
Earlier in his career, Luke spent 11 years at the National Farmers’ Union (NFU) of England and Wales, where his work included supporting farmers on the Basic Payment Scheme transition, Countryside Stewardship, farm resilience planning, and managing financial risks. He also spent time at NFU Mutual, providing specialist insurance advice to estates and high-net-worth clients, further strengthening his understanding of the risk landscape in rural business.
Since joining 3Keel, Luke has led teams on several large-scale projects including landscape recovery programmes such as Waveney and Little Ouse Headwaters and River Adur Landscape Recovery projects in partnership with Suffolk Wildlife Trust and Knepp Wildland Foundation, and supporting clients such as Asahi Europe & International and Asahi Global Procurement with their sustainable sourcing strategies.
