Nick McDowall
Senior Consultant
Nick is a Senior Consultant in the Agriculture and Landscapes Business Unit. He is an experienced analyst and project manager specialising in sustainable agriculture businesses supply chains. Nick has previously worked in both the Commodity Supply Chains and Climate, Nature and Resources Business Units at 3Keel, providing a sound knowledge of supply chain and related carbon issues.
He has worked with a range of clients across the sector and supply chain, including John Lewis Partnership, innocent drinks, The British Retail Consortium (BRC), RSPB, M&S, WRAP, Round Table on Responsible Soy (RTRS) and Twinings.
Nick has significant experience of delivering carbon footprinting and support to businesses within the sphere of agriculture, specifically the collection and translation of complex primary on-farm and supply chain data into accessible and impactful analysis outputs. He has managed significant projects within the agriculture and horticulture sectors to develop both company wide and product carbon footprints.
Prior to joining 3Keel in 2020, Nick had over ten years’ experience of technological and business development within the renewables sector at the leading edge of the industry.
Nick holds a BEng (Hons) in Architectural Environment Engineering and a MSc in Energy Conversion and Management, both from the University of Nottingham.
