Ruth Jenkins

Senior Consultant

Ruth is a Senior Consultant in the Sustainable Commodities team at 3Keel, supporting clients to improve supply chain transparency and reduce the environmental impacts of forest-risk commodities. Ruth’s expertise lies in strategy, project management, stakeholder engagement, and communications. Since joining 3Keel, she has applied these skills to working with major FMCG brands in supply chain mapping, preparation for EUDR due diligence and forest policy creation

Ruth has over ten years’ experience across sustainability, food systems, and commercial strategy. Prior to joining 3Keel, Ruth worked for a regenerative agriculture start-up and held a senior leadership role at a premium food brand where she launched a retail proposition from scratch. She began her career in management consulting, supporting clients such as M&S and Waitrose in project delivery, change programmes, and communications.

Ruth holds a Master’s degree in Global Sustainability Solutions from the University of Exeter, where her research, conducted in partnership with the Met Office, analysed climate risks in the UK food supply chain. She is particularly interested in the role of systems thinking in transforming food systems. Ruth also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Bath.
