Samra Mariam

Principal Consultant – Team Lead

Samra is a Principal Consultant and Team Lead in 3Keel’s Climate, Nature and Resources business unit. She has significant experience in nature, climate and the circular economy. She leads much of the team’s work on nature and advises clients on climate risk, as well as the interlinkages between these areas of sustainability strategy.

Working at the interface between data, disclosure, and strategic decision-making, Samra helps clients to assess environmental impacts and risks; set science-based targets; and develop strategies and transition plans. She also advises on corporate risk and reporting frameworks such as the Taskforce on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and its nature counterpart (TNFD), helping clients embed sustainability into governance and long-term planning. She has a strong track record with corporate FMCG clients, bringing a strategic and analytical approach that is underpinned by robust technical expertise in data-driven sustainability analysis.

With 13 years’ experience in consulting, Samra’s background spans private, public and third sector work. Before joining 3Keel, she worked at PwC’s Sustainability & Climate Change team and the consultancy arm of the New Economics Foundation, leading projects and training on nature-related risk, sustainable food systems and triple bottom line impact assessment. Earlier in her career, she worked in economic consulting, experience she now puts to use as a “recovering economist”, applying her analytical skills to drive change in areas she’s passionate about.
