Sian Allen

Principal Consultant – Team Lead

Sian is a Principal Consultant and Team Lead in 3Keel’s Commodities Supply Chains business unit. She works with clients across a range of deforestation-risk commodities, including palm oil and soy, supporting them to understand and address environmental and reputational risks within their sourcing practices.

Sian leads 3Keel’s Collective Commodity Reporting process, supporting 18 companies to assess supply chain risks and track progress towards deforestation-free goals. Prior to this, she also spent two years working closely with a major FMCG company on a long-term palm oil data collection project, helping to build visibility and meet ambitious deforestation-free targets.

Beyond reporting, Sian guides clients to design and implement practical strategies to mitigate deforestation risk—using insights from data to identify and target areas for greatest impact. This has included facilitating importer engagement through the Palm Oil Transparency Coalition and advising on sourcing approaches that drive systemic change.

She holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford and an MSc in Food Policy (Distinction) from City, University of London. Her academic background supports an interdisciplinary approach to complex sustainability challenges in global food supply chains.
