Becca Brown

Junior Consultant

Becca is a Junior Consultant working within 3Keel’s Sustainable Commodities practice area. She helps organisations address issues such as deforestation and exploitation in their supply chains. Her current focus is soy, and she works on projects that help clients to trace their soy supply chains, determine their soy footprints, and identify courses of sustainable action to take. She finds great satisfaction in helping organisations implement positive change.

Prior to 3Keel, Becca was a Junior Researcher at the Red Cross Climate Centre. There, she helped design and lead a project on disaster preparedness in small island countries of the South Pacific for the Green Climate Fund. She has also worked as an intern in the Migration, Environment, and Climate Change Division of IOM UN Migration in Geneva, and spent seven months researching climate migration in India’s Sundarbans Delta as a Fulbright Fellow. She holds an MPhil in Environmental Governance from the University of Oxford, where her dissertation focused on links between coloniality and the climate crisis in the Sundarbans Delta, and a BA in International & Global Studies from Middlebury College.

Outside of work, Becca enjoys experimenting with new recipes, hiking & mountaineering, taking her hammock to public parks, and visiting cat cafes. Having grown up in a rural mountain community in Montana, she is fascinated by London’s public transport system! She enjoys riding double decker buses and exploring new neighbourhoods in the city.
