Emma Eatough

Consultant

Emma is 3Keel’s technical specialist in the Nature and Biodiversity practice area.

She works with clients on all stages of their nature journey, from upskilling teams to understanding a business’s impacts and dependencies on nature. An essential part of this work is keeping up to date with the developments of reporting guidance and frameworks such as the Science-based Targets for Nature (SBTN), Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosure (TNFD) and the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). She works with clients to deliver work in line with these frameworks, understanding both the quantitative analysis required to deliver them and exploring how they fit into a wider sustainability strategy. Emma has supported clients from a range of sectors with this work, including food and drink manufacturers, retailers, transmission and distribution operators and water utilities companies.

Emma also supports 3Keel’s climate practice area, specialising in corporate carbon footprints, target setting with the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi), carbon reduction modelling and reduction strategies.

Prior to joining 3Keel, Emma worked as a communications manager at a marine conservation charity. Emma has a background in science communication, which started through her work with Oxford Plan Bee as a Bee Walk Host. Emma holds a Master’s of Research in Ecology, Evolution and Conservation from Imperial College London and a BA (Hons) in Biological Sciences from the University of Oxford.

Outside of work Emma volunteers at Wytham Woods running free Bee Walks for the public.
